It’s soft, but not the super fleecy inside like some sweatshirts. It’s still nice, but more like a flannel shirt in thickness- which is just fine. I was a little hesitant about the quality when ordering but it’s been great. It’s washed well and we’ve been pleased with it.I love it the bestGot a large to fit loose on my teen daughter but it fits just right. (She's about 5'5 and about 120 lbs and normally wear medium). So it may run a bit smaller than normal. If you're on the fence on which size I'd go a size up. The quality of the sweater is okay - not a high end material. But the decals itself seem good. I wash this in a delicate and lay flat dry and the decals have stayed on and haven't peeled.My daughter LOVES Harry Styles (I love his music too) and she loved this so much she wore it four days in a row before I had to insist that I wash it. It's a nice gift for the uber HS fan.I could have went a size up for her only because she likes a larger fit but she absolutely loved the look and quality of the fabric. I have not heard back from her in reference to how it holds out in the washer dryer.I looked at a lot of these sweatshirts to find one with the most accurate tattoos and this one is pretty good considering it's an article of clothing. I'm also really glad I read reviews, I'm normally a medium but I got the x-large after reading reviews and it fits like a unisex medium sweatshirt. Also the weight of the fabric is somewhere between a sweatshirt and a long sleeve t-shirt which I personally really like. I love it, my little 1D heart is happy and I love the sweatshirt.
